Wonderful meal at Sage!

On Friday 12/16/11 we visited Sage on the recommendation of our concierge from the Vdara hotel and we weren't disappointed! Our son is a chef in New Orleans so we aren't strangers to fine dining. Customer service throughout the meal was par excellence from the greeting at the door, through the seating, to our head waiter, to his wonderful assistant Juan (an interesting young man and aspiring pianist from Cuba!). Wine service was great as well as the appetizers and main courses. When we told our waiter about our son he said he'd ask Executive Chef Richard Camarota to come out and say hello. RJ (Richard) was wonderful and came to our table and spent 30 minutes talking with us about culinary careers, his history, and was genuinely interested in learning about our son. He is a delightful person but being a chef, it's all about the food and we loved every course that was served! When I commented I was on a diet and wouldn't be having desert, RJ said, you can't go without a desert, allow me to send some out to you. To our delight he sent out two deserts for us to share. We can wholeheartedly recommend the dining experience we had and encourage others to visit Sage!
