Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse inside the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street features a fine selection of prime steaks, lobster, fresh seafood and wines. Cherry wood and stained glass ceilings bring an air of romance to the intimate dining areas. The menu features an array of appetizers such as Fresh Oysters Rockefeller and Maple Glazed Quail. Not to be overlooked is the selection of USDA Prime grain-fed beef, including Ribeye, Porterhouse for Two and Filet Mignon. For those with a taste for something other than beef, Vic & Anthony's also offers Lamb Chop, Live Maine Lobster, Alaskan King Crab Legs, and Pan Roasted Chicken. Dinner is offered daily from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
This is worth the trip down town, its not cheap, but was the best steak we have ever had. The service was second to none. We enjoyed it so much, that we wish we had ordered the larger steak, although we would have struggled to finish it, it would have been worth the effort. It was lovely to see the attention to detail the staff showed. The veg was a little under done for my taste, so if you like it more cooked, mention this at the time of ordering. When i told the waiter about the veg, it was cooked some more and brought to the table, even though it had been removed from the bill. I have nothing negative to say about the whole experiance, we loved loved loved it.
Try the 3 pound lobster. Delicious!! Excellent wine list and outstanding service.
What can I say about this place. For me, Vic & Anthony, they get what Vegas is all about and capture its essence in the restaurant's ambiance and food. The crabcake with its beurre blanc is simply the best. don't get me wrong, this isn't the grandest of tables in LV but the ambiance, the 50's music in the background playing the great American songbook with good food, wine and service just does it for us. Been many places and eaten at many fancy tables but V&A is a must every time we fly out to Vegas (4 times a year)....
