Originally from Miami, the legendary Joe's Stone Crab focuses its attention on quality cuts, fresh fish, and an ultra sleek attitude. Located on the ground level of Caesar’s palace, this elegant restaurant features a cheerful patio for lunch and people watching and a spacious bar and lounge that has massive wine racks that display a notable array of complements for the superb cuisine. Favorites include Joe’s Famous lightly breaded sea scallops and the garlic creamed spinach.
Excellent food and service. Actually the Alaskan Crab legs are better than the stone crab for which they are famous. Swordfish, Parmesan Crusted Halibut and scallops all good. Have not tried their beef (non beefeaters) but based on the seafood, should be good. Side dishes great and large portions. (Hash browns a must) Older waitstaff in tuxedos are friendly and attentive. Joe's is this local's favorite.
My husband and I were mulling over our choices for dinner. We wanted to try something new, but in light of recent disappointments decided on Joe's Stone Crab. We have eaten there a few times before and it has always been an exceptional experience. Needless to say, our experience last night was over the top, again. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the Maitre d. He welcomed us to the restaurant and we told him that we had reservations for 7:30pm. He was very pleasant and told us that our table was ready and we were whisked to our table in a matter of seconds. We were greeted by our waiter, Neil, just as quickly. He was very polite and eager to answer any questions that we may have. We spoke about some wine choices and then he took our order. It only gets better. The restaurant was fairly busy and he got two more tables not long after he got ours. One of those was probably 8-10 people. The service never suffered. If Neil was not at our table at the moment, someone else was. It was absolutely seamless! The food came and it was phenomenal. The menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. My husband had the Alaskan Crab Legs and I had the petite filet. It was perfect. My husband and I were talking amongst ourselves about how incredible and consistent our experiences at Joe's have been. I knew I had to say something to management. When we asked for the check I told Neil how wonderful everything had been and asked him to please send over a manager. Kat came to our table and I told her the same thing that I am telling you. She was very pleasant to speak with and receptive to our feedback. Bottom line, Joe's is a VERY well oiled machine. I don't think there is a slacker in the house. EVERY single person we came in to contact with was happy to be there and it showed in the service. Joe's Stone Crab has by far the ABSOLUTE best staff in Las Vegas. The food is excellent and the service is unparalleled. On a scale of 1-5, I would give them 20 stars! It is off the charts. There are quite a few restaurants in Las Vegas that could learn a little something from Joe's. This is an experience that you do not want to miss! I would recommend Joe's to everyone I know.
Just a fantastic meal from start to finish! The head waiter for our room was truly talented! My filet was like butter and the spices just the perfect accompaniment.
Food was wonderful, service was slow. May think again about going there.
Worth the wait and the money!
Wife and I ordered the bacon -wrapped sea scallops// both of us got food poisoned.....worst nite ever...... stay clear!!!!!!!
