Originally a ‘members only’ secret, accessible only via a private elevator in Mandalay Bay, the Foundation Room began last summer opening up to the public and is now open every night of the week. Distinguished, with tasteful vintage décor, the food mirrors the appointments inside, combining Asian and Indian influences with European flair and some luxurious versions of American comfort classics.

Your father’s steakhouse might scorn this uber-chic dining spot, but we think it’s the 20th Century’s answer to a carnivore’s paradise. 12,500 square feet of stunning décor and innovation spread out for the taking, offering up bounties of unique features to make every dining experience memorable. The two-sided wall of water is breathtaking, the limestone walls and ultra-suede booths are sophisticated, and the massive circular caviar and Champagne bar is intoxicating. And while all these things are enticing, the menu really hits the spot. Elegant dishes like the Kobe Carpaccio, the 16oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon, and the Alaskan King Crab bring it all down to a very palatable size.
